Please note if driving your Hertz vehicle into Germany the Germany environmental Ministry has introduced environmental zones in some German cities. All vehicles entering these areas must display an environmental sticker displaying the emission class of the vehicle. For vehicles not displaying this sticker, the driver may be subject to a penalty of €40.00. This applies to all foreign registered vehicles as well as German registered vehicles.
